I will say trying to capture the right shot of the Annular Eclipse of 2012 was more difficult than I thought it would be. First off I did not have a solar filter to assist in making the right shot. I worked the shot trying many different settings and jumping back and forth between aperture priority and manual modes. When all said and done I had taken over 200 photos.
You hear it a lot from professional photographers “You will take a lot of shots to get one good one”. How true that statement is so go out there and feel up many memory cards.
